College GameDay | September 2
Kick off the college football season at Romare Bearden Park with ESPN's 30th season of College GameDay. The Duke's May Classic game is a faceoff between the South Carolina Gamecocks and the North Carolina Tarheels. Find timing and full details here.
Summer Concert Series | September 7 and 14
The final concerts of the City of York's summer series will take place in September. Enjoy live music, great food, a beer garden, and more held at the City Market. See more here and don't forget to BYO seating.
Around the Crown 10k | September 3
With its mission to move Charlotte forward, the Around the Crown 10k's purpose is to show that running can make you healthier, happier, and more confident. This event is part race, run, community event, celebration, and tribute to Charlotte.
Yaisou Greek Festival | September 8-10
Since it began in 1978, the Yaisou Greek Festival has become one of Charlotte's largest cultural events. Patrons will enjoy authentic Greek cuisine, entertainment, live music, shopping, cultural exhibits, and more.
Old Town's Fall Festival | September 15
Rock Hill's Food Truck Friday will be expanded to a full-on Fall Festival including food trucks, pumpkin carving, wiener dog races, and a kid fun zone.
Scarowinds | September 15 - October 29
The highly anticipated Scarowinds is back this season beginning September 15th. Plan to visit Carowinds for the Carolinas' largest Halloween event.
Charlotte International Arts Festival | September 15 - October 1
This annual celebration of imaginative visual and performing arts features the most creative international and local minds with fun for everyone who attends.
Bands, Brews, & BBQ | September 16
Get ready for a sizzling good time featuring live music, a beer garden, barbecue, and more in Downtown Mooresville. Celebrating the town's 150th year, this outdoor event is sure to bring the fun. More information can be found here.
Flow Fest | September 16
Build community with fellow yoga and wellness enthusiasts at the WhiteWater Center. Open to all experience levels, attendees will enjoy specialty workshops, local vendors, kombucha, and live music. Registration is required but the event is free to attend.
Oktoberfest Jam | September 16
Make your way to Main Street in Fort Mill for their annual Oktoberfest Jam. There will be contests for adults and kids, 35+ artisanal vendors, food trucks, face painting, costume contests, live music, and more.
Festival in the Fall | September 23
Bands, bull riding, bounce houses, vendors, fireworks, archery tag, and more will highlight this Fall Celebration at the Huntersville Recreation Center and Athletic Park.
Festival in the Park | September 22-24
Since 1964, Festival in the Park has been bringing good music, good art, and good times to Charlotteans and visitors from around the world. Enjoy the annual event at Freedom Park.
